Christmas has gone by in a flash. I am looking forward to my favourite month of December again, in the year 2011.
Received lotsa love this Christmas and pressies! And I realised that a bulk of it are beauty products. Must be the age, or are the lines on my face showing already? That people think that I need all these products to restore the youth of mine.
As the Chinese saying goes ” There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.” I happen to fall into that category of being a lazy one. Lazy to complete any beauty regime. And I can’t keep to the different steps of cleansing my face even. So you start with cleansing, toner, moisturiser? I can’t get started on that. Too time consuming.
Anyway, I’m not complaining about receiving beauty products here. It’s good in fact, I do not need to replenish my stock.
In fact, I appreciate all pressies given to me. It is because I really think that it’s the thought that counts. And it always brings a smile to a person’s face. To be remembered and to be loved.
Christmas this year was an extra special one for some. Me and the boy celebrated with his bunch of friends as they had booked the attic suite of the New Majestic hotel. It was the Sandra Lee concept room, where the theme was ‘Which way I ought to go’. The New Majestic Hotel hosts a mix of vintage and designer furniture and each room is designed by different local artists and designers so you can expect a different concept for the many rooms there. Very special but more for couples, I would say.

Why did I say that it was an extra special Christmas for some this year? It was because Ray had proposed to Lee Yin as the clock struck midnight! It was a surprise for her, a very pleasant and memorable one I must say. Congrats to the both of them!
The boy and I did not get to witness this scene as we left early for X’mas Eve midnight mass! As we were near to St Teresa’s, we attended mass there and I was happily singing away to the Christmas carols and hymns. It was great to be able to celebrate Jesus birthday and having the boy to attend it with me. *hugs* Being able to celebrate Christmas in midnight masses always hold a special meaning.
And so, has your Christmas been special and memorable this year?
