Sleigh bells ring…. Are you listening?

Christmas has gone by in a flash. I am looking forward to my favourite month of December again, in the year 2011.

Received lotsa love this Christmas and pressies! And I realised that a bulk of it are beauty products. Must be the age, or are the lines on my face showing already? That people think that I need all these products to restore the youth of mine.

As the Chinese saying goes ” There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.” I happen to fall into that category of being a lazy one. Lazy to complete any beauty regime. And I can’t keep to the different steps of cleansing my face even. So you start with cleansing, toner, moisturiser? I can’t get started on that. Too time consuming.

Anyway, I’m not complaining about receiving beauty products here. It’s good in fact, I do not need to replenish my stock. :) In fact, I appreciate all pressies given to me. It is  because I really think that it’s the thought that counts. And it always brings a smile to a person’s face. To be remembered and to be loved.

Christmas this year was an extra special one for some. Me and the boy celebrated with his bunch of friends as they had booked the attic suite of the New Majestic hotel. It was the Sandra Lee concept room, where the theme was ‘Which way I ought to go’. The New Majestic Hotel hosts a mix of vintage and designer furniture and each room is designed by different local artists and designers so you can expect a different concept for the many rooms there. Very special but more for couples, I would say.

Why did I say that it was an extra special Christmas for some this year? It was because Ray had proposed to Lee Yin as the clock struck midnight! It was a surprise for her, a very pleasant and memorable one I must say. Congrats to the both of them!

The boy and I did not get to witness this scene as we left early for X’mas Eve midnight mass! As we were near to St Teresa’s, we attended mass there and I was happily singing away to the Christmas carols and hymns. It was great to be able to celebrate Jesus birthday and having the boy to attend it with me. *hugs* Being able to celebrate Christmas in midnight masses always hold a special meaning.

And so, has your Christmas been special and memorable this year?

Tis the season to be jolly

Ho Ho Ho !

I’m excited when Xmas is coming and without fail each year I’ll spend some amount of money getting a gift each for my lovelies.

It’s a form of appreciation for their friendship and love rendered to me. Besides, Christmas is all about love and sharing, ain’t it?

Meeting my favourite girls tonight and I sure hope they will like what I’ve picked out for them! :)

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I’ve been so busy! Rushing to pass presies to my loved ones before Christmas. Dolling up myself and dressing up in celebration of Jesus’s birthday!

It has so much meaning for me, being a Catholic.

Christmas is just like my New Year. Mum decorated the house with quite a few decorations, I didn’t manage to capture all though.

This year’s Christmas is alil bit different yet it is still so special.

Ok I don’t wish to elaborate much, so I shall stop at here.

Have a good week folks! :)

3 more days to X’mas!

Dad’s asking me how come the floor is littered with so many presies, wrapping paper and scotch tape. None’s for him though. =X

I reached home just in the nick of time today at 4-ish. The rain started splattering just right after I set my left foot on the steps of my block leading to the lifts.

“Phew” I thought to myself. If not, I will be caught in the rain and all my wrapping paper will be soaked. I should take the basement next time.

I’m excited as the day of Christmas draws near.

Have you guys received my Christmas cards sent out?

Have you guys gotten at least a small lil gift from me yet?

If you realise that you haven’t gotten anything, then well maybe you should try harder next year.

Hahas!! Nah I’m just kidding.

I will be meeting up my dearies and besties to pass them some lil gifts before Christmas day arrives.

So what’s your favourite Christmas song?

Mine’s got to be, O Holy Night! :)

My favourite verse :

“Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
Oh night divine, Oh night when Christ was born;
Oh night divine, Oh night Divine.”
