Jerry’s Grill and Bar

Weekends with the boy have always been great!

Just on Saturday, out of random I told him that I wanted to eat buffalo wings. And then he suggested we go to Jalan Kayu for some, so there we settled down at Jerry’s Grill and Bar.

We ordered a no. of items : Seafood Aglio Olio, Half slab ribs, Half a dozen of buffalo wings. And we ate till our hearts content~ :D

For the buffalo wings, we ordered level 2, Intensifying-fire. The buffalo wings were deep-fried well with some sprinkling of chilli flakes on it. Not as spicy as I would expect though. I was expecting something spicier. Told the boy that the next time we come, we should just try the highest level which is the chef level cos this is not challenging enough. Maybe because I was taking it to comparison with the ones I had at Sunset grill and bar.

Will come back again next time to try the deep fried mushrooms! Oh yes, and please note that the servings for the mains are pretty huge portions!

Now, to let your eyes feast on the food we had. :)

I’m feeling so bloated today. I wonder if it’s a girl problem. As in we feel bloated alot of times. And I’m not talking abt the time of the month thing.

Must be the over indulgent of food for lunch these days! Joy and I have noticed that our lunch gets more and more expensive. But then again, maybe good lunches make up for our days. I’m just associating my indulgence in food to the cause of my bloatedness..

This morning Eve was tweeting about her lost and found restaurant, Oosters! I thought she meant the one at Robertson Quay but quickly realised that it’s Brussel Sprouts that I’ve been to! The mussels there at Brussel Sprouts are to die for!! They have a wide variety of it and if you don’t like mussels you can choose to have it cooked with vongole clams! I love the ones cooked with Tom Yam flavour.. the broth with the cooked mussels make the broth taste so sweet! Ohh.. Best of all they serve some of the best beers and free-flow of fries! Who wouldn’t love that?

Oh man.. I’m soooo craving for it!

We’ll plan a day for this soon! *Yum*tums*

This weekend…….. We decided to head on down to JB for great deals on shopping and fooooooooooooooood!

It was quite an adventure on the way there, which I won’t like to mention and won’t want to experience anymore. Nevertheless, I didn’t regret heading down.

The new terminal over at M’sia has been upgraded and it’s a whole lot spacious, much more efficient, cleaner and safer I feel. Why so? There’s a bridge which links directly to City Plaza that’s why! I was quite amazed by the change because I was expecting to walk out in the sun like how we used to have to in order to get to the plaza.

Anyway, we managed to get there at almost 2pm, with the intention of dining at Kim Gary’s!

I’ve nvr been to Kim gary before cos there’s always such a long queue at the branch in Vivo! Hence, the bf suggested that I cld come here to try the food. And well, there’s a queue here as well!

We ordered a whole lot of other things as well, such as fries, very yummy potato skin with melted cheese and bacon and tomatoes.. etcetc and the bill only amounted to about RM$50 only!!!

And to add on as a note to myself : Don’t ever drink that passionfruit ice mint anymore. It tastes more to pineapple and plus it gave me serious cramps aft that.

Fortunately, the hot honey lemon at Old Town White coffee saved my day! And oh we had snacks there too! :D

Shopping at FOS was great! I bought a Tokidoki tee and sleeping shorts.. plus the boy bought pants for work! All for only RM$90 in total.

Okay we are so going to go there to eat Kim Gary’s and some other stuffs again! :D

Was at the bf’s over at the weekends…

And I told him previously that I’ve been wanting to visit the potato farmland and so on.. Sunday we did!

I love potatoes… all kinds! Baked, boiled, broiled, bbq, roasted, mashed.. all kinds. You give me, I’ll eat it. *yum* My favourite are those freshly cut ones especially and shepherds pie *mouth watering*
