A fellow colleague inspired me to blog a post today.
She’s so cute. She brings laughter to my life in office. And no, I don’t work directly with her.
Anyway, let’s call her T. T was walking along the corridor of the office when she suddenly stopped at my desk and mumbled something like ” three elephants on your desk”
I looked around, saw nothing that looked like elephants. Perhaps, I may be slow to catch? And so, I thought she might be referring to this. (Refer to picture below)
I said these? No lah.. they are two kangaroos and a koala. She continued smiling and say no.. Those..the elephants.. and pointed in another direction.

Ohh these, okay, she sure is observant to have noticed the elephant there. But she still went on talking abt the elephants, to which I said oh those two, in white and beige are dogs instead of elephants.
Still maintaining her smile, I think she still thinks my Cinnamoroll dogs are elephants! So cute la she… She went on to say… you have three elephants! And sang her little song ” three elephants under the tree…” And then she left. Haha! That really tickles me.
Was sharing this with a fellow colleague of mine that 2 years ago when I came in, she was kinda the grumpy, stern person who only spoke in a single, dead tone. Quite like a person with permanent mood swings kind. It was only in the recent year that she has changed so much to become so positive, light-hearted and cheery.
Colleague told me that someone once asked T how is it that she has suddenly changed her outlook on life and have become so cheery. T replied saying that it is because she has been going to church for 2 weeks.
I felt so happy to hear that! That her being able to accept God in her life have changed things. Happy that she has learned to let go of her past unhappiness and that she’s a much better, happier person now. No doubt she’s of an elderly age, but at least she has learned to see things in a different light and to be such a carefree, happy-spirited person. Isn’t that what life is supposed to be all about since it is already so short.
God really works his wonders in many different ways, and I can’t thank him enough of the blessings he has showered on me. Thanks be to God for everything he has done and for answering my prayers.
