Sleigh bells ring…. Are you listening?

Christmas has gone by in a flash. I am looking forward to my favourite month of December again, in the year 2011.

Received lotsa love this Christmas and pressies! And I realised that a bulk of it are beauty products. Must be the age, or are the lines on my face showing already? That people think that I need all these products to restore the youth of mine.

As the Chinese saying goes ” There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.” I happen to fall into that category of being a lazy one. Lazy to complete any beauty regime. And I can’t keep to the different steps of cleansing my face even. So you start with cleansing, toner, moisturiser? I can’t get started on that. Too time consuming.

Anyway, I’m not complaining about receiving beauty products here. It’s good in fact, I do not need to replenish my stock. :) In fact, I appreciate all pressies given to me. It is  because I really think that it’s the thought that counts. And it always brings a smile to a person’s face. To be remembered and to be loved.

Christmas this year was an extra special one for some. Me and the boy celebrated with his bunch of friends as they had booked the attic suite of the New Majestic hotel. It was the Sandra Lee concept room, where the theme was ‘Which way I ought to go’. The New Majestic Hotel hosts a mix of vintage and designer furniture and each room is designed by different local artists and designers so you can expect a different concept for the many rooms there. Very special but more for couples, I would say.

Why did I say that it was an extra special Christmas for some this year? It was because Ray had proposed to Lee Yin as the clock struck midnight! It was a surprise for her, a very pleasant and memorable one I must say. Congrats to the both of them!

The boy and I did not get to witness this scene as we left early for X’mas Eve midnight mass! As we were near to St Teresa’s, we attended mass there and I was happily singing away to the Christmas carols and hymns. It was great to be able to celebrate Jesus birthday and having the boy to attend it with me. *hugs* Being able to celebrate Christmas in midnight masses always hold a special meaning.

And so, has your Christmas been special and memorable this year?

And it’s only…5 days away from Christmas!

I’m enjoying my leave at home.. although I have like xxxxxx no. of tasks to complete.

And when I’m at home, I get inspired to do things again and have lotsa ideas in my head. I think maybe I’m not meant for the ofice 9-5 job but oh well.

Anyway, I’m very excited that Christmas is around the corner! I have been playing Christmas carols on my laptop for half the day and enjoying my leave at home. I’m kinda waiting for Mr Postman to come. Oh pretty pls.. come soon okay?

And guess what? Santa claus came by early this year!

All the above from my darling boy! And all are what I would need/wish/want!

The most awesome is the yearly TWG tea. I love tea! And that Gorillapad which you see above, is quite a special gift as it allows for self-taking of photos. No more weird angles of my arm holding on to the camera and then snapping shots of myself.

It is because of this gift that I’m looking into creating a lookbook for myself. I think it will be great if I could document my dressing while I was still young and then look back again and see how much of a difference it will make as one grows older.

And off I go now! Gotta get started on my xxxxxx no. of things now. You guys be Merry and be jolly!

Tis the season to be jolly

Ho Ho Ho !

I’m excited when Xmas is coming and without fail each year I’ll spend some amount of money getting a gift each for my lovelies.

It’s a form of appreciation for their friendship and love rendered to me. Besides, Christmas is all about love and sharing, ain’t it?

Meeting my favourite girls tonight and I sure hope they will like what I’ve picked out for them! :)
